01. Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain might be the best thing since ( Bread Garden ) sliced bread. Seriously you guys. Those who know me know how much I despise lip gloss. Chap stick and lip balm are much more my style. And I NEVER wear color on my lips. Ever. But that's all changed since I purchased my lip stain last week. Here's a few reasons why I love it: it feels exactly like my chap stick does; the pigment is bold, yet buildable; it leaves a nice sheen without feeling sticky; it brightens up my whole face and makes me feel put together. Go buy yourself some Revlon Lip Stain!
02. I am probably the last person on the planet to discover Jaclyn Hill's YouTube channel, but I'm officially obsessed. Not only is she just totally adorable, but she gives the best advice on all things makeup. The things I've learned from her video tutorials are life changing. Like who knew that I've been applying blush in the wrong spot and have been lining my eyes like a crazy person. I love how honest she is about the products she uses and am excited to incorporate some of her tips and tricks into my own makeup routine. Seriously, go check out her channel if you haven't done so already.
03. I had absolutely no idea who Kareem Abdul Jabbar was until yesterday evening. Apparently, he is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. However, I watched him on Watch What Happens Live and it seems as though he's quite the pop-culture intellectual. In fact, he contributes to the blog on Huffington Post. Most recently, he wrote a piece about the show Girls which was an interesting take on what he feels the show is trying to tell us. He's super smart and very proactive in the realm of educational, social, and cultural issues. He's also a 7'2" man who high dives on the show Splash ( I can only imagine how that's going ) and basically one of my new favorite people.
