Life of a Dog
I would love to trade lives for a day with my dog.
Dogs live such a simple life: sleep, eat, play, repeat. Even though they can't talk, they still find ways to communicate. Furthermore, they're smarter than we think.
For instance, my dog, Belle ( the little fluff-ball above ), knows the meaning of my shoes. She knows when I put on my Nike tennis shoes, it's time for her walk. But slipping on my Sperrys signals that I am just going to get the mail. She can sense when I am going to the leave the house before I even leave. She can tell when I'm eating peanut butter or when I'm eating hummus.
I would love to live life as a dog just to see how they see and hear humans. Do you think they notice that we talk to them as though we're talking to babies? Do they see in color? How strong are their noses really?
Plus, I would really love to do nothing but eat, sleep, and be loved all day long.
