KC

I've been sort of MIA on the blog scene lately. I'm getting ready to move to Kansas City – well the KC suburbs, technically – this weekend. Like, whoa. I will be a resident of a different state in just a few days.

I really know nothing about the area except that BBQ is king. And that KC is apparently considered part of the South. ( To me, the South equals mild winters so here's hoping that's the case. ) Also, KC seems to be a music hub, so I'm looking forward to catching some cool concerts.

I've got that nervous-excited pit in my stomach, which I think is a good thing, because as Chief Richard Webber
( Grey's Anatomy ) said so eloquently, "It's good to be nervous. It means you've got something to lose."
