Worth the Watch // Netflix Round-Up

So my DVR/cable box decided to conch out on me this past weekend – or at least that's what Joe, the support tech in India, told me he thinks that's the case. Which is such poor timing because Grey's starts back up TOMORROW. Which means I have to stay off social media to prevent myself from hearing who April chooses. ( I'm totes #teamjackson bee-tee-dubs. )

Anyway, I've had to rely on Netflix to have some background noise in my teeny tiny humble abode. Except I can't find any good TV shows to watch – because what can follow House of Cards season two, like really. But after plowing through the very eclectic movie selection, I found a few Netflix flicks worth the watch.

Stuck in Love

Warning: Do not watch this movie if you have just applied mascara. You will cry it all off, so don't bother. Though this movie is definitely worthy of mascara-stained cheeks. It's a complex love story that will have you laughing, crying, and wishing your life was a bit more complicated. / IMDb Review

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

If there was ever a film that captured the true innocence of a child, this is it. I've always been fascinated by the Holocaust genre, which is the era this film is set in, and watching it unfold from the eyes of a child is both saddening and endearing. / IMDb Review

The Company Men

How is it possible that I never heard about this film prior to Netflix? I mean Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones – these are household names, people. This film takes you back to the economic crisis of 2008. It was sort of odd to relive that time period because I think I was blissfully unaware of how some peoples' lives turned upside down. / IMDb Review

Have you guys found any movies worth the watch? I think I'll attempt to watch a few documentaries next!
