KC Staycation

One of the many downsides of post-college life is the lack of scheduled vacations. Even though I didn't ever do anything too crazy for spring break, it was always nice to have a week off to explore a new city, enjoy the weather, and just start to look forward for all things spring.

I unofficially dedicated the past week as my spring break, though it was more of a staycation. My friend Erika stayed with me in KC during her spring break, so I figured why not join in on the fun.

The weather for the most part was spectacular. It was nice enough to walk around the city, go for a few trail runs/walks, and even have a few lunches and drinks outdoors. To top it off, Alicia was in town this weekend too so the three of us were able to spend Saturday celebrating St. Patty's Day outside and on patios. Which was wonderful considering we woke up to snow and freezing temps on Sunday morning.
