After struggling to find a book to keep my attention, I got first dibs at the library on the newly released thriller, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. The novel was more fast-paced than Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl, but had similar grit, psychological twists, and unreliable narrators. I finished the book in a day-and-a-half, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something to devour in one or two sittings.
