Oh. My. God.
I have died and went to watercolor heaven.
Seriously, please tell me you guys are drooling over Bernadette Pascua's work as much as I am. I've seen these gorgeous illustrations circulated online, but somehow never managed to find out who was the genius behind the work.
Enter the holy grail of watercolor meets fashion. Bernadette Pascua, a self-proclaimed "multi-disciplinary artist," lives in New York and puts all other watercolor artists to shame. I'm kidding, of course, but look at her work – it's insane. Looking through her portfolio makes me happy. And jealous. And want to break out my gouaches and watercolor the shit out of paper in hopes of doing something remotely as amazing as her.
Anyone whose work causes that sort of reaction is clearly doing something right, in my opinion. And as though the watercolor illustrations aren't enough, her hand lettering skills are ridiculous. Oh, and her work has been featured in W, Glamour, and Vogue. No big deal.
For more of the madness, check out her online illustrated diary and her tumblr.
