Pinspired No. 1

How gorgeous are these type arrangements? Ah-mazingly gorgeous, in case you were wondering.

I love, love, love how type alone can create such clean and visually intriguing design. When properly set, typography can amplify a design on such a huge level. Using multiple typefaces that work well together, adding variation in weight and style, and including subtle design elements like rules and simple icons sounds so easy, yet it's so easy to get wrong.

These are just a few gems I found on Pinterest that I happen to be drooling over.

Dignity + Destiny

If it's meant to be, it will be.

This is practically my life mantra. And now more than ever will I need to remind myself of this simple concept.

While applying for jobs may be annoying, what's honestly holding me back is the fear of rejection. I think I've set my standards just a tad bit too high and it will likely be a rude awakening when I get shot down from something I somehow thought I was worthy of.

More than that, I am terrified to accept a job only to find out I absolutely hate it. First impressions are everything, so starting off on the wrong foot could lead to a whole lot of unhappiness. What if I realize staring at a computer or working at a desk all day just isn't for me? I don't expect my first job to be some glamourous gig that I stick with for the rest of my life, but I do expect it to be something that excites me.

I guess I just need to be honest with myself about this whole job bit.

After all, if it's meant to be, it'll be. Right?
